ACI Motors Limited, the authorized distributor of Sonalika tractors in Bangladesh, has achieved a historic feat by creating a Guinness World Record for the largest single-day tractor delivery. The company handed over 350 Sonalika tractors within four hours at a grand ceremony held in Dinajpur, Bangladesh.
The occasion, themed “Sonalikar Bisshojoy” or Sonalika’s Global Victory, was a milestone event in the 18-year journey of ACI Motors along with Sonalika Tractors, the leading tractor manufacturer in India. In this event, company representatives, farmers, and dealers were brought together to experience an unparalleled display of agricultural trust and partnership.
Dr. Deepak Mittal, Managing Director of International Tractors Limited (ITL), parent company of Sonalika, said every tractor represents the power of Indian engineering and the company's commitment to global farmers. He called this record a "tribute to the farming community and all partners who keep driving the success story of Sonalika."
ITL Director and CEO of International Business Gaurav Saxena said, "This achievement reflects mutual trust and a common vision shared by Sonalika and ACI Motors." He added, “This record stands as proof of Sonalika’s purpose-driven innovation and dedication to empowering agriculture.”
Sonalika has enjoyed over five consecutive years as No. 1 in Bangladesh's tractor market with a market share of more than 50%. Exports of tractors, ranging from 30 HP to 75 HP, have been designed and adapted for the prevailing conditions in local farming.
The tractors are manufactured in Sonalika's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, which churns out one tractor every two minutes. From its global presence in more than 150 countries, Sonalika India Tractors continues to reflect India's engineering excellence and leadership in agricultural machinery.
In fact, the Sonalika world record 2025 is not only a celebration of a logistical triumph but also a reinforcement of the enduring trust between Sonalika, its distributors, and the farming community it serves.
