In 1949, Eicher GoodEarth was set up in India with a technical collaboration with Gebr. Eicher of Germany imported and sold about 1500 tractors in India. On 24 April 1959 Eicher came out with the first locally assembled tractor from its Faridabad factory and in a period from 1965 to 1974 became the first fully manufactured (100% indigenization) tractor in India. In December 1987 Eicher Tractors went public and in June 2005 Eicher Motors Limited sold Eicher Tractors &amp; Engines to a subsidiary of TAFE called TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited.

While the wheelbase of the Eicher 333 is 1905mm, the total weight of the tractor is 1900 kg. The Eicher 333 also has a fuel tank which can hold 45 litres of diesel.&nbsp;

With a lifting capacity of 1650 kg, the Eicher 333 measures 3450mm long, 1685mm wide and 2200mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 1905mm and a kerb weight of 1900 kg.

The Eicher 333 features a live, six-splined shaft for the PTO, which operates at 540 rpm @ 1944 erpm. The tractor comes equipped with a three-point linkage and controls for draft, position and response control links fitted with CAT-2 (combi ball). It also has dry disc brakes available as standard, though, for an extra premium, you can get oil-immersed brakes. You can also avail of accessories like a tipping trailer kit, company-fitted drawbar and top link with the Eicher 333. While the tractor is available with mechanical steering as standard, you can also avail the option of power steering.
