New Holland introduced a new version of its Workmaster 105 tractor, featuring an HVAC cabin. The introduction adds the company's high-horsepower range in India and brings climate-controlled operation to the 100+ HP category.
The Workmaster 105, which made its debut last year, was the first 100+ HP indigenously built tractor to be TREM-IV emission compliant in India. The new version keeps the original's mechanical base but adds more features for operator comfort and application throughout the year.
The tractor is equipped with a 3.4-litre FPT engine, giving 106 HP at 2,300 RPM. It has a 20×20 power-shuttle transmission and has a rear hitch lifting capacity of 3,500 kg. Four-wheel drive is activated electro-hydraulically, while the PTO employs a multi-disc wet clutch system that is suited for long life.
The added HVAC cabin features six roof-mounted air vents and temperature control that allow the operator to work during severe weather conditions. The air-suspended seat minimizes vibration and stress during long durations of fieldwork. A pneumatic reversible fan helps clean radiators in dusty post-harvest conditions.
The base Workmaster 105 model has been recognized for performance and durability in numerous farming areas, the company reports. The introduction of the HVAC-enabled version is intended to enhance working comfort without changing essential functionality.
Over 15,000 units of the Workmaster series have been dispatched to domestic and export markets. The new HVAC cabin variant is priced around ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom) and is retailed through New Holland's dealership network across the country.
With this new development, New Holland continues to evolve its machinery range to suit changing operator requirements, weighing field productivity against comfort and ease of use.
